Our Beer

Beer Brings People Together.

Once upon a time, a fly-fishing pastor from Montana fell in love with coffee, beer and people. Eventually, he and his wife sold everything and moved to Texas to open a neighborhood brewpub. On Christmas Eve of 2016, Lazarus finally came to life.

Now we have 2 locations to serve you in Austin. We brew over 70 different beers each year; over the past decade we have won 6 gold medals at the highest levels of national and international competition.

Did you know that all our beers are Gluten-removed? We use an enzyme called Clarex to ensure that every beer we brew contains less than 20ppm gluten!

Named in honor of Katharina Von Bora (a renowned nun-turned-brewster, and wife of Martin Luther), this rich & bright Oktoberfest-style Märzen is crisp on the palate with a dry, light body, blending caramel notes with hints of nuttiness. Here’s to all the great women (in both faith and brewing) throughout the ages. Prost!​​​​​​​​
