Blaze Your Trail, One Sip at a Time

Northwest Passage is an adventure in every pour. The flavor is a bold journey—bitter dark chocolate intertwines with vibrant notes of orange and grapefruit zest, balanced by smooth coffee and roasted malt. Interestingly, the roasted depth comes solely from the malt, while the citrus-forward coffee varietal amplifies the bright hop character. A complex and adventurous brew, Northwest Passage beckons the explorer in every craft beer enthusiast.

BREWER’S NOTES:

  • MALT: Pilsner, Carafoam, Chocolate Malt, Carafa Special III
  • HOPS: Centennial, Citra
  • YEAST: us05

Pours black as night with an off white heaad. Aroma of chocolate, bright citrus, roast malt, and coffee. Flavor of bitter dark chocolate along with orange/grapefruit zest, coffee, and roast. Interestingly the roasted character comes from the malt and not the coffee (which is a citrus forward varietal that accentuates the hop aroma).
