Pours black as night with an off white heaad. Aroma of chocolate, bright citrus, roast malt, and coffee. Flavor of bitter dark chocolate along with orange/grapefruit zest, coffee, and roast. Interestingly the roasted character comes from the malt and not the coffee (which is a citrus forward varietal that accentuates the hop aroma).
